The process

Six steps, and none of them are skipped.

Most of the value is in the first step. Get the brief right and the rest follows; get it wrong and no amount of searching rescues it.

Brief us on a role

  1. Understand the brief

We sit down with you properly - the role, the team it sits in, who it reports to, and what "good" looks like twelve months in. This is where unrealistic briefs get flagged.

  2. Map the market

We work out who is actually out there, what they are paid, and how hard this will be. If the salary and the expectation do not meet, you find out now rather than in six weeks.

  3. Search and approach

Advertising, our own network, and direct approaches to people who are not looking. The best candidate for a role is usually already employed and reasonably happy.

  4. Screen and interview

Every candidate is personally interviewed by us before you meet them, assessing capability, motivation and cultural fit. References are checked before the offer, not after.

  5. Shortlist and support

A tight shortlist with honest notes on each person, including the reservations. We brief candidates before your interviews and get you real feedback after them.

  6. Offer and onboard

We manage the offer, navigate the counter-offer conversation and support the resignation process. Then we stay close throughout the first few months because a successful placement isn't just about getting someone started; it's about making sure the match lasts.

How we work

The principles behind the process.

  • Personal Approach

We build genuine relationships and take the time to understand your needs.

  • Thoughtful Matching

We dig deeper to find the right skills, experience and cultural fit for lasting success.

  • Highly Experienced

35+ years, 2,000+ placements and independent reviews on SEEK speak for themselves.

  • Extensive Network

From specialist roles to senior leadership, we recruit across all industries.

What to expect

Timing and fees.

  • How long does it take?

    2 to 3 weeks

Most roles are shortlisted in two to three weeks. Senior searches take longer, and we say which yours is at the briefing.

  • What does it cost?

    Agreed in writing

Contingency or retained, depending on the role. Fees are agreed in writing before any work starts.
